Terms of Service
Last updated: 7 July 2026
What this covers
These terms cover the Palseer app and this website, palseer.com. By using either, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app or the site. You can about anything in these terms.
How we handle your data is covered separately in the privacy policy.
The service
Palseer is a screen-time app. It reads your device's screen-time totals and shares your daily total with people who can view your account. You control who that is: on a private account, nobody sees your numbers unless you approve them; on a public account, your numbers are visible and you can block anyone.
Screen-time numbers come from your device's own reporting and may not be exact. Palseer shows them as they are. It is not a medical, health, or wellbeing product and does not give advice.
Your account
You need an account to use the app, and you must be at least 13 years old to create one. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your sign-in method to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account.
You can delete your account at any time in the app. Deleting your account deletes your data, as described in the privacy policy.
Acceptable use
When you use Palseer, you agree to:
- Pick an honest handle. No impersonating other people, and no handles that are offensive, misleading, or infringe someone else's rights.
- Respect other people. Do not use the app to harass, pressure, or monitor someone against their wishes.
- Use the service as intended. No attempts to break, overload, or reverse engineer the service, no scraping, and no automated account creation.
If someone makes you uncomfortable, you can remove their access to your numbers or block them at any time.
Termination
We can suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or if we shut the service down. Where reasonable, we will warn you first. You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time.
Liability
Palseer is provided as is. We do not promise it will always be available, error free, or that screen-time numbers will be exact. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost data, or losses that come from how you or others use the numbers the app shows.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, you keep all your statutory rights.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes go to the courts of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you may also rely on the consumer protections and courts of the place you live.
Changes to these terms
If we make significant changes to these terms, we will note it at the top and, where the change matters to how you use the service, tell you in the app or by email. The current version was last updated on 7 July 2026.
